FAQ
This accreditation has deep personal meaning for me, as the two animals that I chose to create my animal study accreditation are my pets.
Ramsay is my dog, a rescue from the North West Territories. He is a white Siberian Husky - and we think he may just have a bit of wolf content.
Ramsay is my heart, we are deeply connected, and our relationship has been complex and meaningful. Huskies are working dogs, and this dog has always needed to be busy. He loves to walk, explore and experience. In his younger days, Ramsay would do obstacle courses that we set up on the backyard, and he would also jump on our trampoline.
Ramsay has more days behind him than in front of him, and I wanted to celebrate him, telling the story of who he is and celebrating what he has brought to my life.
Darryl, the cat is an integral part of my life too. He was the runt of his litter, and every time I visited the farm where my horses are boarded, this little kitten would follow me, begging me to hold him and love him.
I brought him home to be a part of our family, and he is truly the perfect cat, sweet and cuddly, playful and loving. He is curious, friendly, and goes the extra mile. It took him 2 years to get our old grumpy cat to love him, BUT he did it.
Darryl is truly special, and a very large part of our lives. I wanted to celebrate him in his naughty, nice and sweet moments.
