The Laser Room of Sherwood Park Personal Branding Session

I recently did the first personal branding session of the subscription service that Lisa of the Laser Room of Sherwood Park booked.

Prior to the session, I visited the clinic for a one on one with Lisa and members of her staff. It’s important for me to know who I’m working for so that I understand what they want to create for their branding stories.

I asked Lisa if she called The Laser Room of Sherwood Park a clinic or a spa, because when I walked in, from the front entry to the wall colour, the artwork, even the bathroom, it’s a place of zen.

Without fail, all of my brand clients are in business to serve others. They want to make their clients happy, feel good about themselves, and make their lives and worlds a little better.

This description suits Lisa perfectly. From our discovery call, when she shared her mission, I was crying. When we met in person, I was in awe, and when we worked on her session, we both cried. Now – don’t get me wrong, these aren’t tears of sadness, but of real, raw emotion. We’re both women invested in serving others, creating something that matters for them, and there we both were, in the midst of our professions, putting our hearts out there. It’s these connections that make me driven to do what I do.

Lisa was a single Mom, her daughter is her world and Lisa wanted to create a big, bold and bright world for her girl, now her family. In doing so, she created the Laser Room of Sherwood Park, which started in a small room she sublet from another business.

From that little space, Lisa has grown and created a space of empowerment for herself, her child and family, her clients and her staff.

What I love about this clinic is that it’s beautiful and calming, and serves clients of all genders, nationalities and beliefs. Lisa has created a safe, inclusive space for all to relax, enjoy and be pampered.

Here are a few interesting things I learned:

• Laser treatments are safe year round. With the advent of new technology, it’s safe to have laser treatments all year long! Many clients won’t get laser over the summer – but you can, it’s perfectly safe. Reach out to the clinic for more information.

• Many of their clients are men. I guess I thought that businesses of this niche were predominantly female clients, but lots of guys want laser treatments, back treatments and facials.

The clinic is spotless, clean, and constantly monitored. I watched staff maintain a pristine workspace with each treatment. As I commented on it, they mentioned that Lisa and the entire team expect a level of cleanliness and sanitization that is a cut above. It’s that level of commitment to this and all that they do that sets the clinic apart.

When she spoke about her staff, Lisa spoke of them as if they are her family, a tight unit that she cares about deeply, and she empowers them by teaching and training them with high standards. Not only does Lisa serve her team by ensuring they are at the highest level of training, she is serving her clients by giving them the best possible treatments.

As someone who has received treatments from The Laser Room of Sherwood Park, I can say with no exaggeration that people will notice. Several people commented about how bright I looked, ageless, young. I deliberately didn’t tell Ray, my husband that I had a treatment because I wanted to see if he noticed.

After my Hydrafacial, particularly a few days after, I could still see results happening. Ray looked at me and remarked – “Babe, you are still beautiful, I can’t believe how young you look”. Truly noticeable results.

I have to be honest, it was sometimes a little difficult to photograph this session. IT WAS JUST SO ZEN, ALL THE ASMR VIBES. I found myself so dreamy and relaxed watching the treatments that I had to really stay in the zone and not melt in a puddle. It was the same in the editing session, I felt all relaxed and loopy. Imagine receiving the treatment, if just looking at the image does that.

The Laser Room has also received several awards of distinction in the Community Votes Edmonton 2023 contest, platinum and gold level. The team at this clinic knows their stuff, inside and out.
