As entrepreneurs, we operate a business to create a living. We need to make money, support our family and pay our mortgage. However most small business owners that I speak to have a greater drive that gets them up in the morning. They operate out of a spirit of service, a wish to bring a service or product to help others.
The client in this brand photography session is one of the kindest and most generous people I know. She teaches yoga to her clients to bring them a sense of balance, of peace and of strength. She allowed me to photograph her in a very personal space; writing in her journal and then allowed me to capture her words. There is a vulnerability in such sharing which resonates with her clients; particularly as they open up and share their vulnerability with Dawn-Marie.
